Terms of Service

Covers use of the RESOLVE platform and this marketing/demo-request site.

1. What these terms cover

RESOLVE is a subscription software platform operated for life insurance agencies. These terms cover: (a) your use of this marketing site, including the Contact and Request Demo forms, and (b) the baseline expectations for any agency or agent using RESOLVE.

2. Subscription, billing & payment

RESOLVE is billed on a recurring monthly subscription, at the plan and rate in effect when your subscription started (see Pricing). Beta and founder pricing is offered at RESOLVE’s discretion and may change starting with Version 2.0. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period. Optional professional setup services are billed separately, one-time, at the rate quoted before work begins. Payment terms, accepted methods, and any refund policy will be confirmed at checkout when billing is set up for your account.

3. Account responsibility

  • Complying with insurance licensing and state regulatory requirements applicable to your business — RESOLVE tracks license and appointment data you enter but does not verify or guarantee your compliance.
  • Complying with data protection law applicable to the client information you store (state insurance-data rules, and any consumer privacy law that applies to your agency).
  • Complying with the TCPA and any other law governing calls or text messages you place or send to leads/clients — including through RESOLVE’s Dialer or Outreach Automations features — such as obtaining any required consent and honoring opt-out/do-not-contact requests. RESOLVE provides these as tools; it does not obtain consent on your behalf, verify that you have it, or guarantee that your use of them is compliant.
  • Keeping your RESOLVE account credentials secure, and promptly reporting any suspected unauthorized access.
  • Deciding your own data retention and deletion practices within the tools RESOLVE provides.
  • Everything entered under your account — client records, imports, team members you invite — is your responsibility to keep accurate and lawful to hold.

4. Acceptable use

RESOLVE may be used only for legitimate insurance-agency business. You may not attempt to access another agency’s data, probe or bypass the platform’s access controls, reverse-engineer the application, or use RESOLVE to store or transmit unlawful content. On this marketing site specifically, the Contact and Request Demo forms are for genuine inquiries — automated submissions, scraping, or attempts to reach data beyond what’s intentionally exposed to a signed-out visitor are not permitted.

5. Intellectual property

RESOLVE — the application, its design, and its underlying code — belongs to RESOLVE and is licensed to you for use under these terms, not sold. You retain all rights to the data you and your team put into it: your client records, book of business, leads, and notes are yours, and nothing in these terms transfers ownership of that data to RESOLVE. You may not copy, resell, or white-label the RESOLVE platform itself.

6. Service availability

RESOLVE aims to be available whenever you need it, but does not currently guarantee a specific uptime percentage or offer a formal SLA. The platform depends on third-party infrastructure (hosting, database, authentication) that RESOLVE does not directly control, and availability follows those providers’ own uptime in practice.

7. No warranty

RESOLVE is provided “as is.” Commission, promotion-ladder, and quote calculations reflect the comp-grid data loaded into your account and the logic built into the platform at the time you use it — verify significant figures (a large commission payout, a promotion decision) against your actual carrier statements and agreements before relying on them exclusively. RESOLVE is not a substitute for professional accounting, legal, or compliance advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RESOLVE and anyone who built or maintains it are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including data loss, missed commission calculations, or downtime of third-party infrastructure that RESOLVE depends on but does not directly control.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period, after which your account is deactivated. RESOLVE may suspend or terminate an account that violates the Acceptable Use section above, or that RESOLVE reasonably believes puts other agencies’ data at risk, with notice where practical. On termination, your data is handled per the retention terms in the Privacy Policy.

10. Relationship of the parties

RESOLVE is a software provider, not your insurance agency, your employer, or your business partner. Using RESOLVE — including any RESOLVE plan offered at no cost through an upline or recruiting relationship — does not create an employment, agency, joint-venture, partnership, or franchise relationship between you and RESOLVE. RESOLVE does not supervise, direct, or control how you conduct your insurance business, and nothing in these terms changes the independent-contractor relationship, if any, between you and any agency, upline, or downline you work with.

11. Changes

RESOLVE and these terms may change over time. Continued use of RESOLVE after an update constitutes acceptance of the current version of these terms.

12. Governing law

The governing law and jurisdiction for these terms will be specified in the subscription agreement issued to your agency before billing begins. No jurisdiction is designated on this page until that agreement is in place.
